2026 Rep Basketball Tryouts

We are looking for talented, committed, and coachable players to join GTA Mavericks Rep Basketball.

Tryout Fee: $15

The tryout fee is non-refundable. Online registration must be completed before tryouts in order to participate.

  • Registration covers one assigned tryout session
  • Players do not attend both days
  • Attendance at the assigned age-group session is mandatory
  • Tryout sessions are one hour or 90 minutes, depending on the age group
  • Wednesday, September 2: U16–U17 Boys 6:00–7:00 PM, U9–U12 Boys 7:00–8:00 PM, and Girls U10–U16 8:00–9:00 PM
  • Thursday, September 3: U14 Boys 7:00–8:30 PM and U13 Boys 8:30–10:00 PM
  • Location: David Ann Athletic Centre, 130 Racco Parkway, Thornhill, ON L4J 8X9
  • Arrive 20 minutes before the assigned start time
  • Bring water, basketball shoes, and a basketball

Important Note

To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend exploring a backup program such as Select Basketball or House League. Rep team spots are limited. Visit the Programs page to compare every available pathway before registering.
