If you’re looking to play Rep basketball in Vaughan, there are a few things you need to know. The first step is to make sure you’re registered for house league basketball. House league is the foundation of Rep basketball, many Rep players start in house league.

Once you’ve registered for house league, you can try out for Rep teams at the level that’s appropriate for your age group. Tryouts usually take place in late winter or early spring, and the teams are announced a few weeks later.

If your child doesn’t make the team at their age group, don’t worry – they can try out again the following year. And don’t forget, even if they don’t make the Rep team, they can still play house league.
